HOLDEN COMMODORE EFI VX VU VY V6 ECOTEC 3.8L CROW CAM AND CHIP PACKAGES

KEY BENEFITS

·    Up to 25% horsepower gain

·    Street-friendly, tractable RPM range

·    ADR compliant

WHY

If you think you've gone as far as you can with bolt-on performance parts or are rebuilding your Holden V6 Ecotec, it's time to consider the benefits that only a high-performance camshaft and COMPUTER package can bring.

WHAT

We have developed a high-performance camshaft and COMPUTER package for your VX-VY V6 Ecotec. Designed to deliver real-world horsepower gains of up to 25%, our Holden V6 cams won't compromise the drivability or fuel economy of your vehicle, like some cams can.

Stage-2 Kit: Improved Mid Range Power Touring

Our stage-2 kit contains a new high-performance camshaft and COMPUTER. We recommend this kit be used in conjunction with a free-flowing exhaust system for maximum performance.

This package provides a maximum power gain of 20% between 1500 and 6000rpm. This increase has been achieved without sacrificing any noticeable low-end torque or drivability.

HOW

The camshaft is one of the most vital components inside your engine, controlling when and how the intake and exhaust valves open and close inside your cylinder heads directly affecting not only how much power you make, but where in the rev range it does it.

By altering the three main attributes to camshaft design being lift, duration and lobe-separation we've been able to offer a series of camshafts that provide maximum drivability and economy, whilst also offering up to 25% power gains!

Please Note: These kits do not suit the L67 engine

Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid at the Nurburgring – Video

Wed, 28 Apr 2010

The Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid Nurburgring video below In February we reported that Porsche has developed the unthinkable – a hybrid 911. But this wasn’t a hybrid 911 with a bank of batteries and a fluffy-bunny conscience, but a rampant track 911 with a great big electro-magnetic flywheel and a KERS-like thump of an extra 160bhp – the Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid. The 911 GT3 R uses technology developed by Williams F1 and comprises of a pair of generators in the front wheels that shove energy to a composite flywheel (conveniently located next to the driver – not sure how well that would go down on a road0going version) which is the stored and can be thrown at the back wheels whenever the driver wants, in a way very similar to KERS.

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 19 December 2007 12:42 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Forum. No, not that Forum where Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did his best work, but Nissan’s new minivan concept. Due to be unveiled at Detroit in January 2008 the concept is, according to Nissan, 'a forum for family gatherings'.

Honda Accord Coupe (2007): first official pictures

Mon, 08 Jan 2007

By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 08 January 2007 04:07 Honda Accord Coupe: the lowdown Officially, this facelifted, two-door Accord is a concept. Unofficially, the next-generation coupe will go on sale in autumn 2007, as a 2008 model. It's a lot funkier than the bland Accord sedan, which will get this facelift at the same time, so it's not shown up by its cooler sibling.
